Lughnasadh is the first of the three Harvest Festivals. Not only do we harvest herbs at this time, but we celebrate the harvest of the fruits of our labor. We turn the wheel with our version of Thanksgiving, pouring our intentions into the oil, bread and fruit of the season. We acknowledge the waning Celtic sun God Lugh and give thanks for all that we have received in blessings so far this year.
What to Bring:
Bring a small offering from your garden, kitchen, or heart to place on the altar, and come ready to celebrate the golden glow of late summer with fellow kindred spirits.
